Wamberal House

On the land of the Darkinjung people.

The renovation of an existing fibre beach cottage on the NSW Central Coast, the Wamberal House faced a series of planning challenges. There is a spectacular view to the South over the lagoon and Terrigal Skillion, however bad weather also is prevalent from that direction. The new living spaces open onto decks and terraces to the North and South allowing views from all parts of the house as well as the freedom to migrate across outdoor spaces according to the weather.

A good example of the benefit of a North orientation. The Wamberal House is comfortable in a wide range of weather conditions.
